He grew up on a southeast Lebanon dairy farm, the youngest of five children. At an early age, with family and church always being a big part of his life, God revealed to him through His Word that he was a sinner (Rom 3:23), and needed a Savior (Rom 5:8). After some turbulent teenage years, Leon met a precious family from Nebraska who the Lord used to disciple him and draw him back to Himself. At the age of 19, he met his wife Donna and they were married in 1981. Together, Leon and Donna, who own and operate a dairy farm, have been blessed to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
